The Blog

This is a new blog that I'm trying to get off the ground that with cover everything a beginner kayaker needs to know about the gear they will need to buy and why that gear will work or not work for them. I will cover:

1. Kayaks 
2. Paddles 
3. Helmets
4. Spray skirts 
5. Personal Flotation Devises 
6. Clothing
7. Shoes

I will cover all of the different gear listed above as well as gear you will need if you continue paddling year round during the colder months like Drysuits and Pogies.

I'm hoping that by the time I get this blog off the ground it will have information on gear, technique, repairs, and other topics to make your whitewater experience a good one.  As of now I'm just adding as I go but do not plan on publishing the blog until everything is in good working order with pictures and a good attention to detail.

If you would like me to cover anything specific let me know and I'll do my best to answer any question. Happy boating! Looks like we have a fun summer ahead of us!!
